This is an example of typography that has been used. This shows the title of the film. The writing is next to the girl which shows that her name is Juno in the film and she is the main character. Also judging from what she is wearing and the colour of the text can connote that she is boyish and is a tom boy. Also the writing is written in a very comic/cartoonish way which also can connote that Juno is a young teenager due to the typography. Another thing the typography is very bold and is around the same size as Juno if turned around which again shows that the girl is Juno and is the main girl in the film.
This is a picture of the institutional logo which is FOX SEARCHLIGHT PICTURES. The institutional compny name has been written in capitals and is large and very bold. However 'presents' has been written in no capitals and is smaller than the institutional name. This connotes that the company logo is bigger than everything, Even compared to the title name Juno this also has been written in No caps. Which connotes the company name is important than everything else. Also the writing has been spread out widely and is easier to read and also has been left on the screen the longest. This again dennotes that the company is the boss and the main thing about the film.
I have learnt many things about the institutional information in opening credits. I have learnt that the institutional company name always comes first and they are the one providing most of the money so I will use this in Mine I will also use the producers, director of photography, costume designers, the film name, actors, supporting role, music producers, and directors in my own work as these always come up in opening sequences of films.
