How British social realism themes are used

The
bullet boy:

One of the main themes that has been shown throughout the trailer for bullet boy are corruption of youth, and childhood. In this picture it has been shown very clearly as the little boy no younger than the age of nine is holding a gun pointed towards the camera. this denotes his childhood has ended quickly as he is adjusting to guns. Also corruption of youth has been shown in the second picture as he is getting arrested by the police.
Fishtank:
The main themes that have been shown throughout the trailer is abuse, neglect, rape and corruption of youth.
This image here shows the mother hitting her daughter. This denotes that neglect she gets from the mother and also her mother is an abuser. I will explore this theme in my opening clip by showing the mother hitting her daughter and leaving her all alone in their house which shows neglect and abuse.
Rape has also been used in fishtank. In this picture it is denoted as the girl is erring grabbed by two or more males. Because rape is a very strong concern I will explore this by showing a teenaged girl going through life as she has been raped and showing the way she is coping with it.
London to Brighton:
The key themes shown in this trailer are aspiration and escape, sex, isolatio, corruption of youth and violence.
In the first picture the girl is sitting by herself at the station. This shows neglect and isolation as she is by herself in a crowded place without anyone. She's a runaway child. In the second picture she is shown to be smoking which is corruption of youth as she looks to young to be smoking. I will explore this theme in my opening sequence showing a runaway child running away from home due to neglect by her parents.
Dead mans shoes;the key themes explored in this trailer is violence. Violence has been shown throughout this.
This is showing one of the main characters brother getting tortured and beaten up by another group of people. I would explore violence in my work by showing a gang beating up a weaker victim as he is the weaker victim in this film.
Nil by mouth:
Domestic abuse has been shown throughout this film,
The wife is covered in bruises which indicates she was abused. I will show this theme in my opening sequence by showing the mother protecting her child and ends up getting abused herself.
